Most
years, the May ASHRAE program consists of a small group of chapter
Officers and Chairpersons getting together, discussing the events of the
recent Chapter Regional Conference (CRC), and formally electing the next
generation. However this year our Region XI DRC, Ms. Traci Hanegan, will
be flying in from Spokane to liven things up with a presentation on
"Specification Enforcement." With a program that's aimed
at virtually everyone in the plan/spec construction business, Traci's
intention is to show us what's wrong and what's right with our beloved
specifications.
Traci
is well experienced as a design engineer, with a broad background in
healthcare, schools, retail spaces, office buildings, you name it. She
also teaches HVAC in the Mechanical Engineering Department in Gonzaga
University as an adjunct faculty member.
Our
meeting will be held on TUESDAY, May 13, 2008 at the Coast
